The animated film 'Cats in the Museum' follows museum cats who must protect the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg from mice and rats. The film is about the museum cat Vincent, who became friends with the mouse Maurice after he saved Vincent's life. Vincent therefore tries to hide Maurice, which is a difficult task as Maurice has the unfortunate habit of gnawing on all the castle's paintings. The situation is further complicated when Leonardo Da Vinci's masterpiece Mona Lisa arrives at the castle. Vincent must do his best to protect the painting from the grumpy mouse and potential thieves while trying to win the heart of the Egyptian cat Cleopatra.
