'Doctor Strange' is based on Marvel Comics' animation movie with same name as the superhero, who unlike his colleagues, operates in a parallel and spiritual world. The wizard was created in 1963 by Steve Ditko and Strange managed to hold the fort in 53 years, even though he was never one of Marvels most popular heroes.
The superhero movie 'Doctor Strange' is about the great and arrogant neurosurgeon Stephen Strange, who is involved in an accident.
The accident causes severe injuries on his hands, and no doctor seems to be able to help So in desperation he seeks other and alternative ways to be healed. The journey brings him to a mysterious temple, in Katmandu, where the meeting with the spiritual world opens, and gives him insight into magic and mysticism. Unfortunately other and more evil wizards are planning to take over the world.
